First off, welcome to the page! If you found yourself here you are most likely an active individual with an affinity to weight training. So, you’re automatically cool in my book!

A little about me! I am Doctor of Physical Therapy, a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified personal trainer through the NSCA, and a certified nutritionist through Precision Nutrition. I was a swimmer for years and was lucky enough to have 2 rotator cuff muscle tears when I was 14 years old. I say lucky because it brought me to the field of physical therapy. I ended up being a national level swimmer who continued competing all the way through college where I got to be team captain and introduced to coaching in the weight room. I got to practice as a training with the general public and I loved it so much, I wanted to take it further. I did shadowing, volunteer hours, and interning with our Strength Coach and loved it so much, I went all in. I got to work with the collegiate teams here such as volleyball, wrestling, swimming, diving as well as some local high school team sports.

In grad school is where my passions really took hold of me and where I found powerlifting and brazilin jiu-jitsu. The sports inspired me to dive deeper into the art and science of sport performance, coaching, injury recovery/management and more. With that I began coaching local fitness, bodybuilding, powerlifting athletes at a private gym where I got expand my knowledge, improve my coaching, and become a better competitor and lifter myself.

I eventually ran out of free hours in the day but wanted to continue coaching, and I was lucky enough to have previous clients trust me in the online coaching process that has now become PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE!

And now I have had the honor to help lifters from around the world achieve their physique, strength, health, and rehab goals. To say what I get to do is nothing short of amazing to me.
